Saygal Hossain, the former bodyguard of Trinamool Congress leader Anubrata Mondal, was finally taken to Delhi on the orders of the Supreme Court. According to the order of Delhi High Court, Saigal will be kept in Delhi for a week. So ED (Enforcement Directorate) does not want to delay the investigation in any way.

It is to be noted that Saigal Hossain, former bodyguard of Anuvrata, was arrested first in the case of cow smuggling. In this case, the investigating officers got traces of property worth crores from a common bodyguard and after that he was arrested on suspicion. After being in custody for the past several months, the ED recently requested that Saigal be taken to Delhi for questioning.
However, in this case, the ED's application was rejected by the Calcutta High Court, but later the Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi allowed their application. Although the ED's road was not so smooth in taking Saigal Hussain to Delhi! Saigal first went to the Delhi High Court and then the Supreme Court against the court's verdict, but both the courts rejected Saigal's appeal. In the end, Saigal Hossain was taken from Asansol to Delhi yesterday afternoon as no road was open.
In this case, Saigal reached the capital with a special team of police. At the same time, as per the order of the Delhi High Court, the accused cannot be kept in Delhi for more than one week. Because of that, the intelligence agencies have already stepped up. According to the court order, the accused can be questioned between 11 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 4 pm. In this case, the High Court has ruled that his lawyer should also be present.
Incidentally, Trinamool Congress leader Anubrata Mondal was recently arrested in the cow smuggling case. In this case, Anubrata and his close relative and daughter Sukanya Mandal have been found to have assets worth crores of rupees. According to the investigating agency, Saigal was working in the corruption case. As a result, through the questioning of Saigal in the capital, it will be seen if any new mystery comes to light in the Anuvrata issue.
