But before the festival, 4 people died in the explosion of fireworks. The stakes were stored in a godown in Banmore Nagar in Madhya Pradesh's Morena district. There was a sudden explosion. The explosion reduced the godown to rubble in the blink of an eye. Initially, 4 deaths were reported in this incident. However, several others are believed to be buried under the debris. 7 more people were injured in this explosion.
Morena Collector Bakki Karthikeyan said, "We are investigating whether the explosion was caused by gun powder or a gas cylinder bursting." The condition of the injured is critical. Several parts of their bodies were burnt. And a child has been rescued from under the debris. Meanwhile, the work of cleaning the debris is going on. Police and administrative officials went to the spot after receiving the news of the explosion. Before Diwali, there is a shadow of grief in the city of Banmore. Meanwhile, a similar incident took place in Punjab three years ago. Just before Diwali, there was a terrible explosion at a cracker factory in Batala. More than 20 people died in that incident.
