After 3/6 this deep depression is likely to develop into a cyclonic storm over west central and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal by 24 October. The system is likely to move northward after becoming a cyclone. (AFP)
After 4/6, Cyclone Sitrang may touch Odisha coast and West Bengal and Bangladesh coast on Tuesday, October 25. It is to be noted that earlier the Mausam Bhavan had informed that it would be possible to determine the possible course of the cyclone if the low pressure is formed. No chance of rain anywhere in North Bengal till Sunday 6/6. Weather will be almost dry. On the other hand, there is no rain forecast till Saturday in South Bengal. Monsoon may leave the state completely by today. However, due to low pressure and cyclone, it may rain in South Bengal from next Monday. (AFP)
