Bhopal: The Hindi version of the first MBBS course books in India was launched on Sunday. The motive behind this move is to make studying easier for medical students studying in schools other than English medium.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah released the books written in Hindi for first year medical students in Bhopal in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and State Medical Education Minister Biswas Kailash Sarang.

Speaking at the book launch event, the Union Home Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given more emphasis to Hindi and other Indian languages under the new education policy. He said, "Today is a very important day for the education sector of the country. Whenever history is written in future, today will be written in golden letters. It is a historic decision”.
Highlighting the concerns of students with non-English background, Chief Minister Chouhan said, "Amit has brought a new dawn in the lives of those who could not get admission in medical colleges because of the trap of English, and many times were forced to drop out without passing the exams. Shah".
Calling it a golden day in Indian history, the Chief Minister also said that Madhya Pradesh is ready to give this book to the students of other states. So that they can understand the content better.
