Polling started at 8 am on Sunday and ended at 5 pm. Then the counting of votes started. Although the polling process was apparently peaceful, clashes broke out between PTI and Awami National Party members in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. PTI workers, on the other hand, alleged that they were attacked in Karachi. There have also been allegations of vote rigging. According to the Election Commission of Pakistan, a total of 15 complaints of violation of election rules have been submitted.
Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed his happiness after the election results were announced. At the same time, he once again demanded to bring forward the election. It should be noted that Imran Khan lost the trust vote in April this year and was ousted. Shahbaz Sharif was elected as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Since then, Imran Khan has been demanding to bring forward the elections.
