In the midst of protests and agitations, the Primary Education Board announced the number of vacant posts in primary schools. Earlier on September 29, the board had issued a recruitment notification. This time the notification regarding the number of vacancies in a district has been published by the board. In that notification, the total number of vacancies is 11 thousand 765. All those who have passed TET in 2014 or 2017 and who have undergone training can apply for this exam. This notification has been published in accordance with the recruitment rules in early 2016.

Apply online to appear for the exam. The online application process starts from Friday, October 21. Applications can be made till November 14. Applications can be made from these two websites: www.wbbpe.org and wbbprimaryeducation.org.
How much is the application fee?
To appear in this examination, general category candidates have to pay 150 rupees as application fee, OBC candidates have to pay 100 rupees, scheduled caste and tribal candidates have to pay 50 rupees.
Denial of the demands of the agitators?
It became clear from this notification that the council rejected the demands of the agitators. The 2014 TATE passed job aspirants claimed that they were passing the interview, so they will not take the exam again. 2017 job aspirants as they have already trained and cleared the TET so they will not take the exam again. They should be appointed immediately. Both sides were agitating on this demand. Among them, the 2014 Tet Pass candidates were on hunger strike for 84 hours. The police picked them up from in front of the board's office on Thursday night. Again they threatened to start the movement. The matter has already gone to court. However, the board does not think so. They claim that both parties are getting the opportunity to sit for the exam in 2014 and 2017. Let's see where the water flows in this situation.
