ED: ED has been desperate to take Anuvrata-Rakshi to Delhi for quite some time now.

New Delhi: Anubrata Mandal's shadow partner Saigal Hossain. The court allowed Saigal to be taken to Delhi. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had applied to Delhi's Rouse Avenue court to take Saigal to Delhi. The hearing was held on Monday based on the application of the ED. It was there that the special court of Delhi gave this order.
Saigal Hossain has already been arrested by the Central Investigation Agency in the case of cow smuggling. He is in jail custody in Asansol court. But ED wants to take Saigal to Delhi for questioning. So the PMLA of Delhi applied to the court. According to sources, that application was approved today.
In other words, ED can take Saigal Hossain to Delhi and interrogate him. Earlier, ED went to Asansol court with the same application. But there it was rejected due to some procedural errors. Later, the ED also went to Calcutta High Court with this application. The Central Investigation Agency was also hit there.
Justice Tirthankar Ghosh of Calcutta High Court said that if there is no proper production warrant, the court will not agree to the request to take him to Delhi. Only the PMLA court in Delhi can issue a production warrant. Besides, the judge wants to know, why did the ED apply to Calcutta High Court in this matter instead of going to Delhi? Then the ED went to Delhi's Rouse Avenue court. It remains to be seen if Saigal tries to take any legal route challenging this order. In this case, the ED can go to the Supreme Court.
What the ED has repeatedly tried to say in the court is that Saigal needs to be interrogated in Delhi to move the investigation more smoothly. As he is the bodyguard of Anuvrata Mandal and Anuvrata is quite influential and has been caught by the CBI in the cow smuggling case, Saigal's cross-examination is very significant at this moment. Incidentally, Enamul Haque, the main accused in the cow smuggling case, is now in jail custody in Delhi. He was arrested by ED. They claim that ED got Saigal's clues by interrogating him.
