According to police sources, weapons were manufactured in a warehouse under the house of Shahjahan Khan, a resident of Jharkhand. The police found this weapons factory in Mihizam area of Jamtara district. 7 semi-finished pistols were found there after searching. Apart from this, the police also recovered raw materials and equipment for making carbines, pistols and other weapons.
Apart from Imtiaz, his son Mohammed Sahil Mallick, 19, Indrajit Sharma, 24, a resident of Narendrapur, South 24 Parganas, and Vicky Prasad, 35, a resident of Bhavanipur, Kolkata, were arrested on Thursday from Sinthi Mor area. It is known that Imtiaz and Sahil recently came to Kolkata from Bihar. A high-quality carbine, two magazines, 10 firearms and fake notes of Rs 50,000 were recovered from the arrested.
